Competition, produced by the Russian Space Agency itself, features a surgeon played by Yulia Peresild. She goes aboard the ISS on a mission to save the life of an astronaut. The last one is played by… a real cosmonaut: Russian Oleg Novitsky. To film this film, a film crew consisting of the lead actress and director spent a dozen days on the ISS at the end of 2021. And this despite the fact that the commander on board the space station at that time was none other. than Thomas Pesce. In total, from this shooting in orbit from 35 to 40 minutes of the film, which will be shown in Russian cinemas.
