Hollywood is shocked. American actor Lance Reddick, known for his roles in TV series The wire and in action John Wick, was found dead this Friday at the age of 60 at his home in Studio City, Los Angeles. According to his press secretary Mia Hansen, he died of natural causes, excluding the version of suicide. He has been married since 2011 to his partner Stephanie and has two children.
In recent weeks, Lance Reddick was still promoting John Wick: Chapter 4, in cinemas in France next Wednesday. In this action film directed by Chad Stahelski, he plays Charon, the concierge of the Continental Hotel, an establishment that serves as a hideout for a hitman played by Keanu Reeves.
Originally from Maryland, Lance Reddick rose to prominence in the 2000s with a prison series. ouncewhere he played Inspector John Basil. Before becoming a TV legend by playing Lieutenant Cedric Daniel in The wire (VF Audition), David Simon’s cult behind-the-scenes Baltimore PD series.
