He sets off on a journey with a broken body and soul. Over 1,000 kilometers on foot to recover from an accident that nearly cost him his life. On dark paths is an adaptation of the autobiographical short story by Sylvain Tesson. In 2015, the writer crossed France to recover. Then he took only small paths. “When an animal is injured, it goes into silence, whereas when you have an accident and want to recover by walking, you don’t want to follow borrowed paths at all.” he explains.
