A few capital letters are enough to set fire to his troops. In a message to his supporters this Saturday morning, Donald Trump warned that he was going to be “stopped” Tuesday, March 21, call for demonstrations. “Protest, take back our nation!”the former US president asked on his Truth Social platform. The call is repeated a few hours after its first publication, always in capital letters: “Save America, protest, protest, protest!!!” Two messages, the tone of which is undoubtedly reminiscent of messages published before the storming of the American Capitol.
Unmistakable Political Support
If the context has changed, the rhetoric will remain the same. In January 2021, Donald Trump wanted to protest the alleged “flight” presidential elections. Now he says his troubles with the law are organized to “republican leader” in the fight for the White House. The attack on American democracy was taken up in chorus by the Republicans, among whom he still has many repeaters.
For example, Representative Eliza Stefanik described “an attempt to silence and suppress the will of voters who support President Trump and the America First movement”. Elected in New York, she went even further by calling “radical left” WHO, “Knowing she can’t beat President Trump in an election, she’s following the example of socialist dictators.” Meanwhile, Arizona Representative Andy Biggs attempted to directly campaign for the Donald Trump conspiracy by issuing a message full of innuendo: “If they can come for Trump, they will come for you.”
A wave of support swept over the speaker of the House of Representatives. One of the most powerful figures in the federal government, Kevin McCarthy, called for an investigation to find out the “political motives” of the Manhattan prosecutor leading the case.

Thus, on social networks, Republican politicians are clearly positioning themselves on the side of Donald Trump, condemning “banana republic”. Without risking triggering calls for a demonstration. Even the most explosive supporters of the sulphurous billionaire held back. “We do not need to protest against the plan of the communist democrats”, tweeted Matt Goetz, a die-hard Florida fan who hatched a crazy plan to bring Donald Trump back to power.
The memory of the Capitol is still alive
It must be said that memories of the Capitol invasion are still alive among these parliamentarians, who are afraid of being held accountable in case of violence. What about the pro-Trump spheres on social media? In these discussions, where impunity reigns, supporters are still very active. On the far-right TheDonald.win forum, the idea quickly gained momentum. “Surround Mar-a-Lago or its location and prevent the entry of law enforcement forces.”. A publication under which everyone went there with their comment on what type of ammunition to prefer. Ali Alexander, leader of the Stop Theft movement behind calls to go to the Capitol, himself suggested that “100,000 Patriots” get on the road to “Close access to Mar-a-Lago”where the real estate mogul’s villa is located.
But at the moment there is nothing to indicate that this requires “take back the nation” reached the most active spheres. Groups such as the Proud Boys or the Three Percent Movement, which were heavily involved in the attack on the US Congress, have not spoken out on the issue. And even Ali Alexander made it clear that he would not participate in any protests. “Now I am retired. But I will pray for him.” he tweeted, warning his community. “If you demonstrate in New York, you will find yourself in the most hostile jurisdiction in the United States. There is no law and order. You have no freedom or rights there. You will be sent to prison.”he thinks he knows, instead inviting his supporters to help the families of those arrested for their responsibility for the Capitol riots. “The last time Trump’s biggest fans protested on his behalf, he left them all to rot in jail without even paying a dime in legal fees.”also denounced ultra-conservative influencer Jesse Kelly.
Without a White House-provided audience or the backing of his most radical relays, Donald Trump’s calls remain limited to far-right forums for now. However, the authorities are preparing for the worst. According to the American press, several security meetings were held to prevent possible mass violence.
