In the 20th century, Leipzig was an industrial city. But here the factories and their chimneys were left standing after they were closed. Such is the case with the huge Spinnerei visited by our team, which was rescued by a collective of artists. In the post-industrial atmosphere, you can even sleep there for a hundred euros a night. The French teacher our team met is also sometimes a guide and has experienced the whole renaissance of Leipzig.
